Shopify Customer Accounts
AccountCraft
Don't leave the account page empty.
AccountCraft turns Shopify's new Customer Accounts into a page you design: configurable blocks, editable customer fields (including the metafields you already have) and consents, personalized by rules. No code, no theme edits.

What it is
Shopify's new Customer Accounts are native, secure and passwordless — and, out of the box, close to empty. AccountCraft builds a real page builder on top: you compose the account area from configurable blocks, order and style them visually, and decide who sees what based on tag, metafield, market, B2B status or account age.
It is built exclusively on Shopify's official Customer Account UI Extensions: no theme edits, no login-page hacks, no copy of your data outside Shopify. The fields customers fill in — including the customer metafields your store already uses — are written back through the official Admin API and stay exactly where they've always been.
The problem
Migrating to the new accounts leaves you with a page you can't customise.
Stores coming off legacy accounts often hold years of customer data in metafields and a bespoke account page built into the theme. With the new Customer Accounts none of that carries over: the area is native, but it's also closed. The result is an anonymous account with no content, no editable data and nothing on-brand — at exactly the point where returning customers land.
What it does
Block Builder
Compose account pages from configurable blocks — text, banners, buttons, cards, images and more — ordered and styled visually, with per-block width and alignment and a reusable library.
Eight block types
Text, Banner, Button, Card, Divider, Spacer, Image and Video, combined across one, two or three columns, in grids, cards or stacks. The data model is already drag-and-drop ready.
Editable customer fields
Customers view and update their own profile data: eight field types plus consents. Add new fields or bind to existing ones — everything is saved inside Shopify.
Existing metafields, finally editable
Bind any customer metafield your store already uses and surface it in the new account for the customer to read and update. No migration, no duplicate data: the value stays exactly where it was.
Conditional rendering
Show a block only when it matters: by customer tag, metafield, market, B2B profile or account age. Rule-based personalization without touching a line of code.
Consents done properly
Consents are shown after login, never during it, and are saved on the customer in Shopify — no extra friction added at the moment of signing in.
How it works
- 01
Install and open the builder
Add AccountCraft from the Shopify App Store. No theme edits, no changes to the login page: the app works only through the official extensions.
- 02
Compose the blocks
Pick the account area, add blocks, set their order, width and styling. The library lets you reuse elements you've already built.
- 03
Bind fields and rules
Bind existing customer metafields or create new fields, add consents, and set visibility conditions by tag, market, B2B or account age.
- 04
Publish
It renders through Shopify's official extension targets. If Shopify ships a new target tomorrow, it slots into the same builder — no rebuild.

Frequently asked questions
- Does it modify my theme or the login page?
- No. AccountCraft is built only on Shopify's official Customer Account UI Extensions: no theme edits, no login hacks, no code to insert.
- Can I make the customer metafields I already use editable?
- Yes, and it's one of the reasons it exists. Bind your existing metafields, the customer reads and updates them from their account area, and the value is written back through the official Admin API to the same place it lived before. No migration, no duplicate data.
- How does personalization work?
- Every block can carry visibility conditions: customer tag, a metafield value, market, B2B profile or account age. A members-only block appears only for the customers who actually qualify.
- Which account surfaces can I customise?
- Profile, order history, order details, the order page, the full page and the footer. The app renders through the official extension targets, so new targets released by Shopify slot in without redoing the work.
- Where does customer data end up?
- In Shopify. Fields and consents are saved on the customer through the official Admin API: AccountCraft doesn't keep a parallel copy of your customer database.
- Do I need a developer?
- Not to build pages, blocks, fields and rules — that's all visual. If you want an integration beyond the standard set, we build the app ourselves and can take that on.
