Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use on this site, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences at any time.

Data controller

Barikreativa S.r.l., Via Aurelio Carrante 1F, 70124 Bari (IT) — VAT IT08528680724.

For any request regarding cookies and personal data you can write to info@barikreativa.com.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to make pages work, remember your preferences or collect statistics. Similar technologies (localStorage, pixels) perform comparable functions.

Categories of cookies we use

Essential (technical): required for the site to work and to store your cookie choice. They don't require consent. They include the consent preference saved in your browser (bk-consent-v1 key in localStorage).

Analytics: help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 24 months) are written only with your consent. Without consent the script stays in “denied” mode (Google Consent Mode v2): it stores no cookie and no identifier on your device and sends only an anonymous, aggregated signal with advertising parameters redacted. With your consent we also store a few technical session keys in your browser (bk-sid, bk-start, bk-landing, bk-attr, bk-paths, bk-counted in sessionStorage and bk-visits in localStorage) to reconstruct the browsing path and its source; they are cleared when the tab closes, except the visit counter.

Marketing: used to measure campaigns and show relevant content. We use Meta Pixel (_fbp cookie, about 3 months), provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Loaded only with your consent.

Cookieless measurement

Alongside the tools above we use a form of measurement that stores nothing on your device and therefore stays active even if you reject or ignore the banner.

Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc.: counts visits and page views in aggregate, with no cookies and no localStorage. To tell visitors apart it uses a temporary identifier derived irreversibly from request data (IP address and browser), regenerated every 24 hours and never stored on your device. It cannot identify you or follow you across other sites.

Internal visit notification: the site sends our internal system an alert when a page is opened or a call-to-action is clicked. Without your consent the alert only contains the page visited and the country derived from the IP address, with no identifiers and no writes to your device. With analytics consent the alert also includes the referrer, campaign parameters, device type, city, time on site and scroll depth.

Legal basis

Essential cookies rely on the legitimate interest in providing a functional, secure website (art. 6.1.f GDPR) and on technical necessity.

Analytics and marketing cookies rely on your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which is free, specific and revocable at any time.

Cookieless measurement — Vercel Web Analytics, the internal visit notification and the anonymous Google Analytics 4 signals sent in “denied” mode — relies on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site performs in aggregate (art. 6.1.f GDPR): as it neither accesses nor stores information on your device, it does not require consent under ePrivacy rules. You can still object by writing to us.

Managing consent

On your first visit we show a banner to accept all cookies, reject them (essential only) or customize by category. Until you consent the Google Consent Mode v2 default of “denied” applies: marketing scripts are not loaded at all, and Google Analytics 4 stays in cookieless mode, writing nothing to your device.

You can change your preferences at any time from the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer.

In every scenario only the cookieless measurement described above stays active, and it writes nothing to your device.

Non-EU transfers

Google, Meta and Vercel may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and on the safeguards adopted by those providers.

Retention

Each cookie has the duration indicated above. Your consent preference is kept for as long as needed to avoid showing the banner on every visit and can be revoked at any time.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@barikreativa.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect technical or regulatory changes. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
